We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at latherhouse. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed.
We feel strongly that it is our job and privilege to redo our own work and we look at this as an opportunity to learn and grow deeper with a client.
If there is ever anything about your hair that you are unhappy with, we ask that you follow these steps:
All services are non-refundable but we are more than happy to schedule an adjustment service, free of charge.
For the adjustment to be free, the service must be a mistake from the service provider. There may be a fee if you’ve changed your mind based on your original plan. You have 48 hours to contact the Salon to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction. Corrective services will not be allowed 10 days past the initial service date.
The adjustment will be scheduled with the same stylist who provided the service. However, in the case that the original stylist has no time available, or if the service provider is unable to provide the service, an exception may be made at the discretion of management.
Please note, the growing trend in hair color is these massive projects that are time consuming and expensive, often times these projects result in multiple sessions to achieve your desired result. This is not considered a redo, this is part of the journey you may be on with your hair to achieve your goals.
What is included in adjustment services:

We run a tight ship around latherhouse. We do much of our pre-appointment consulting, via email.
We keep a tight and tidy schedule. Please be organized, on time and openly communicative. We love pictures as references and preparing in advance for new clients or big changes. It is not unusual for us to help each other out for efficiency and to heighten the level of service we are capable of providing.
Our preferred method for tipping is Venmo. We also take cash and can process a credit card when needed.
We will take product back for any reason within 30 days, for a credit towards another product available at latherhouse.
A CREDIT CARD IS REQUIRED TO HOLD YOUR SERVICE.
A 50% FEE WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL SERVICES CANCELLED LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE THE SCHEDULED SERVICE, NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED 100%.
PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING MORE NOTICE WHEN CANCELLING ANY SERVICES THAT TAKES 3 HOURS OR MORE, SUCH AS CORRECTIVE COLOR WORK OR EXTENSION INSTALLATION.
We hope that you love every square inch of your hair when you leave latherhouse and we strive to make it right the first time. We guarantee all of our work. In order to do this we need you to use the best products and practices at home.
Wait 48 hours after chemicals to wash or style your hair.
Use High quality, professional hair care that we recommend or are familiar with.
Use high quality tools such as wet brushes for detangling and professional hot tools.
Use hot tools minimally.
Handle your hair carefully as it may be fragile after recent chemical services.
We will do everything we can to share our professional knowledge with you so you are equipped to take care of your hair at home. When we make a professional recommendation, we expect you to follow it. Those that do not take our professional recommendations may void the guarantee of their hair service.
